
College instructor uses hidden prompt to catch students using AI in midterm exam

It’s that time of the year when Barack Obama shares his summer playlist and reading list. The former president is known for sharing the books and songs that he has enjoyed over the sunny months, always surprising people with his selections and asking for recommendations. This year is no different as Obama posted 11 books that captured his attention these past months, as well as a slew of songs that he couldn’t get enough of. Among the novels that he read include “Kin” by Tayari Jones about two daughters raised without mothers in Honeysuckle, Louisiana. There’s also Ann Patchett’s “Whistler” about a woman who reunites with her stepfather who she hasn’t seen in 40 years. Obama also read Colson Whitehead’s final volume in his “Harlem Trilogy,” “Cool Machine.” The author recently sat down with Craig Melvin for his “Glass Half Full” podcast to discuss the novel.
