Two people were hurt in a shooting at what witnesses say was a Halloween party in North Lauderdale early Sunday. The Broward Sheriff s Office (BSO) said it happened shortly after 1 a.m. Sunday in the 7500 block of Southwest Seventh Place in North Lauderdale. Authorities responded and North Lauderdale Fire Rescue took a woman who had been shot to a hospital with injuries not expected to be life threatening. A man was grazed by a bullet and was not transported, BSO said. One woman said it appeared the shots were fired toward the owner of the house. Everybody was just going crazy. It was just chaotic. Everybody was just fighting, she told NBC6. The investigation continues, and anyone with information is asked to contact Broward Crime Stoppers at 954-493-TIPS (8477).
