Coastal flood alerts are in effect along the coastline as the highest tides of the year return. The moon’s alignment with Earth, a strong onshore flow and rounds of rain starting Sunday could lead to significant coastal impacts across South Florida this weekend. Watch for saltwater flooding along the coast around high tide.Otherwise, Saturday evening will feature a few isolated showers. Expect increasing showers Sunday afternoon, with highs in the mid-80s. Rounds of heavy rainfall could lead to localized flooding.
